The department of Clinical Biochemistry was established from the foundation of the Medical College in the University in the year 1430AH / 2009 at the main building of the college. As the department enriches its students scientifically in the basics of Clinical Biochemistry and Partial Biology in a manner that allows them to understand metabolic disorders and cellular dysfunctions within a clinical context, facilitating their transition to the clinical years.
The Department of Clinical Biochemistry aspires to provide high quality programs in biochemistry and molecular biology, enabling the preparation of physicians with a distinguished level of scientific competence and laboratory expertise, allowing them to keep pace with continuous advancements in medical sciences and to possess the ability to pursue scientific research across all medical fields.
